The project aims at developing a Chatbot - called Sevak, which can understand written and spoken Indian languages (Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, and Telugu) along with English. To reach out to India’s heart, we aim at designing Sevak such that it supports the mixing of languages, i.e. Hindi in English (Hinglish), Bengali in English (Benglish), Tamil in English (Tanglish), and Telugu in English (Tenglish). The product will be an open source, pluggable, chatbot engine. Sevak service will be provided through Facebook messenger, Android app. Sevak will serve in the following three important domains -Railways, Primary health care, and Judiciary.
