NSS units at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna are observing Swacchta Pakhwada during August 1-15, 2017. Today was the inaugural event. Prof. Pushpak Bhattacharyya, Director, IIT Patna emphasized the importance of Swacchta both in the surrounding environment as well as in thoughts and encouraged the student volunteers for their participation. He also participated in the cleaning drive along with Registrar Shri Asheesh Kumaar, Assoc. Dean (Student) Dr. Akhilendra Singh and other faculty members, staff members and students. A number of events are planned during the Swacchta Pakhwada including cleanliness drives, Student competitions and other awareness activities.
