Prof. Pushpak Bhattacharyya, Director IIT Patna, Speaks in the Panel on 'Industry 4.0' in the Indo-Sweden 'AI for All' Conference
India and Sweden signed aJoint Declaration on Innovation Partnershipfor a Sustainable Future during Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi's visit to Stockholm in April 2018. In this context, on April 11th, Swedish and Indian government decision makers, industry executives and leading researchers met in New Delhi to strengthen industrial collaboration and find novel applications for AI to address global challenges. The full day conference gathering over 100 AI experts was hosted by the Embassy of Sweden, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Department of Biotechnology (DBT), NASSCOM as well as Indian and Swedish industry and academia. The theme was "AI for ALL" with focused panels on Next generation transport, Digital healthcare, Public safety and Industry 4.0. Prof. Bhattacharyya spoke on the way Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning will change industrial and administrative Operations in future. In almost all sectors- manufacturing, health, agro- text and its ML based processioning will bring in additional input for faster and more accurate decision making."
