======Information for Term Paper======
In this course, you need to prepare a term paper. This will be a group activity. A group can contain no more than 3 persons. You are free to choose your group. 


=====Timeline=====
  * Formation of the groups - 28.08.2019

  * Finalization of topics - 06.09.2019
  * Intermediate evaluation - Mid-October
    * **Upload preliminary report by 18th October. Filename should be outline.pdf.**

  * Report submission - 1st week of November
    * **Submission deadline - 10th November. File-name should be finalreport.pdf**
  * Final presentation - 2nd week of November
    * **Tentative date for presentation 16th November.**
    * **Upload of final presentation by 14th November. File-name should be presentation.pdf and presentation.pptx. You must upload a pdf vesion, pptx is optional.** 


=====Outcome=====
  * It is expected to have one survey write-up from each of the group. You can choose your preferred domain. However, the broad domain should be embedded systems, cyber-physical systems, internet-of-things.
  * The write-up should be 12-15 pages long (excluding bibliography). It needs to be formatted as [[https://www.ieee.org/content/dam/ieee-org/ieee/web/org/conferences/Conference-LaTeX-template_7-9-18.zip|IEEE conference template]]. Also, you may choose [[https://www.overleaf.com/users/sign_in|overleaf]] to write this paper. Overleaf provides collaborative development framework along with necessary template files.

  * Some aspects of smart-grid, smart-buildings, etc. 
  * Wireless sensor networks, Edge / Fog computing
  * You may look for the papers in conferences such as - ACM Sensys, CPSWeek, ACM MobiSys, ACM/IEEE ICCPS, IEEE INFOCOM, ESWeek, ACM BuildSys, etc. Important journals - IEEE IOT, ACM TECS, ACM TCPS, etc.
