The Department of Mathematics is committed to impart high quality education in Mathematics at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. The faculty members of the department have versatile experience both in teaching and research in various areas of Mathematics such as Statistical Decision Theory, Statistical Inference, Mathematical Control theory, Optimal control, Non-linear Optimization, Multi-objective Programming, Combinatorial Topology and Geometry and Topological Graph Theory. The department is initiating its PhD programme from July 2009.
